Globe and TM SMS Center Number or Short Message Service Center (SMSC)

The Short Message Service Center (SMSC) number, also known as the SMS Center Number, functions as the central hub for your SMS texts before delivering them to the recipient. If your device, such as a phone, tablet, or SIM-based device, does not have the correct message center number configured, there's a high chance that you won't be able to send or receive SMS messages, and you may encounter failures when attempting to send a text.

This occurs when you accidentally delete or remove the pre-configured SMS Center Number during SIM activation.

The default SMS Center Number for Globe and TM is +639170000130.

How to Input and Configure SMS Center Number

  1. Open your phone's messaging app. (e.g. Messages for Android devices)
  2. Click on your profile icon.
  3. Select Messages settings
  4. Select network or mobile number.
  5. Look for the "SMS Center Number" or SMSC option.
  6. Input the default SMS Center Number for Globe and TM "+639170000130".
  7. Save changes.

Do note that settings may vary depending your phone manufacturer and OS version. If the steps above doesn't work, you may need to register your SIM to activate the SMS messaging or your SIM card maybe damage and your last option is to call Globe and TM hotline for customer support assistance.
